GivEnergy Ltd, a UK-based supplier of residential energy storage systems, entered Administration last Thursday (April 9th) with West Yorkshire-based Chris Brooksbank of CB Business Recovery appointed as Administrator.
Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, GivEnergy ceased trading with immediate effect and all its employees were made redundant. Hardware warranties and ongoing user and software support will cease.
The UK-wide company is part of a wider trading group and was a major supplier of inverters, batteries and EV chargers.
A licensed insolvency practitioner, with more than 30 years’ experience, Brooksbank has stressed that the following legal entities are not covered by this administration process:
- GivEnergy Group Limited
- GivEnergy Commercial Limited
- GivEnergy Australia PTY Ltd
- GivEducation Limited
- GivEnergy Software Limited
- GivEnergy Property Limited
- Satori Education Limited
All queries and outstanding business, relating to those companies, should be raised with them directly.
Focusing on the business of GivEnergy Ltd, Brooksbank said:
“GivEnergy Ltd (the Company) entered Administration last Thursday and I was appointed as Administrator.
“Following my appointment, all stakeholders should note that the Company has ceased to trade and all its employees have been made redundant. Consequently no further goods or services should be provided to the Company.
“Likewise, as the Company has ceased to trade, no further hardware warranties will be honoured by GivEnergy Ltd.
“In addition, ongoing user and software support will not be honoured by GivEnergy Ltd.”
Mr Brooksbank advised all consumers to revert to their installer for initial support.
